HouseInspection

Step 1 – Full Inspection

First, a member of our team will visit your home for an onsite consultation. During this consultation, we’ll examine your home exterior and make any notes about areas that may need special attention or repairs.

Step 2 – Cleaning

All jobs begin with a thorough cleaning to ensure optimal Rhino Shield application. The cleaning process includes a pressure wash to rid your home of dust, oils, mildew, and anything else that may hinder the coating application.

Step 3 – Patching / Repairing

During this step, our team will repair any issues with the exterior of your home, including wood replacement and stucco repair.

Step 4 – Scraping

We will then remove all loose paint and debris from your home through manual scraping, sanding, or chemical stripping. A clean, smooth surface establishes a bondable surface for our primer and ceramic finish coat.

Step 5 – Caulking

Our team uses an acrylic elastomeric caulk to caulk surface cracks, joints, and seams around windows and doors to prevent moisture intrusion.

Step 6 – Masking

We will then protect – or mask – all areas that will not be painted. We’ll remove light fixtures, downspouts, and window shutters, and cover windows, roofing, landscaping, and decking.

Step 7 – Priming

During this step, we will prime the entire area that will be painted. The primer will serve as a sealant, improve water resistance, and provide a binding agent for the ceramic finish coat.

Step 8 – Finish Coat Application

Once the project area has been prepped and primed, we will apply the Rhino Shield Ceramic Coating.

Step 10 – Clean Up

We aim to leave your home and yard looking better than when we arrived. We will uncover all the windows and landscaping, and replace all light fixtures, shutters, or anything else that was taken down. We’ll make sure all trash and work debris has been removed so it looks like we were never there.
